In yesterday’s post, I called for the ouster of the University of Maryland’s board of regents. James T. Brady, the chairman, stepped down after widespread criticism over the board’s recommendation that Maryland’s football coach keep his job. The others on the board should have the dignity to do the same. If they don’t, it must be forced.
